LASTS 3 MONTHS

Three sticks. One season.

Before plastic, there was Miswak.

Cut from Salvadora persica. The fibers occur naturally in the wood — nothing is glued, moulded or added. People have brushed with it for thousands of years.

One Ingredient

A single branch, cut and dried.

Plastic Free

Nothing in it was made in a factory.

Compostable

It returns to the ground it came from.

Travel Ready

No case, no charger, no liquid.

No Batteries

It works because you move your hand.

No Nylon

The bristles are the wood itself.

No Chemicals

Nothing added. Nothing coated.

A brown canvas zippered pouch with a wooden-handled brush resting inside, placed on a large rock in a mountain landscape with misty peaks and a tent in the background.
Six days out. No sink, no outlet, no packaging to carry back.

HOW IT WORKS

01

Chew

Chew the end until the fibers separate into bristles.

02

Brush

Brush as you normally would. No water, no paste.

QUESTIONS
  • The wood fibers act as bristles, and the sap has a mild natural astringency. Studies through the WHO have found it comparable to a manual brush when used consistently.

  • No. Most people use it dry. If you prefer paste, it works with it too.

  • About a month. You trim the frayed end every few days and chew a fresh tip.

  • Dry and open air. No case, no cup of water. It handles a backpack pocket fine.

  • Only the taste of the wood. Original is earthy, Mint is cooling, Cinnamon is warm. The stick is the same.
